Financial, HR and Productivity Supports for Dealing with Covid-19

These coming months will be an uncertain time and we hope that you and your organisation are managing to operate as effectively as possible.

Financial Supports

The Local Enterprise Offices have put together a list of financial supports for SMES facing cash flow issues amid the ongoing Covid-19 Crisis. Please click here for a reminder of what they are.  Needless to say reduce your outgoings asap – talk to your Landlord about a 13 week or more rent holiday; likewise request a 13 week holiday from loan/mortgage repayments; Try and negotiate new terms with your suppliers and make your staff aware of the government HR supports available.

The LEOS will soon be offering a COVID-19 Business Continuity Voucher

It is expected to be up to €2,500 with no charge for the services to specialists in areas such as Finance, HR etc. Further information will be circulated as soon as possible.

Business Continuity Planning

The Department has updated its checklist on Business Continuity Planning which provides a checklist of preparatory actions for businesses in responding to COVID-19.

HR Supports

Laura Powney and Frank Scott-Lennon of HR for Better Workplaces have put together a further Checklist of  HR and Financial Supports (the latter also referred to in the  LEO website link). Please click here to see that list of Supports.

Productivity Supports

Moira Dunne of beproductive.ie wanted to share some pointers that could help you be productive during this uncertain time, especially if you are working from home.
